Americans said that they hated freedom 100 years ago because the environment was dirty, there were murders, and medicine was dangerous, but the US is now a police state and the environment is still dirty, there are still murders, and medicine is still dangerous.
I was recently stateside. It has been a few years, and I had to take care of some business. My wife and I have revisited some of our favorite spots, and caught up with some family. We have driven through some of Godâs finest works. There is no more beautiful landscape anywhere on earth than the west coast, Route 66, southern Colorado, the Badlands, etc.
That said, I say this most sincerely, and with great sorrow. Those of you who can, get out now.
What I have seen leads me to depression, and there is no road back for the US, in my opinion.
The blinkered people, the tax collectors roadside (police everywhere collecting taxes), the tax collecting at every opportunity, the welfare state, the severe drop in service at restaurants, the tattoos, the green hair, the lard-asses everywhere, the severe over-population of great swathes of the country, the hideous media out only to inflame, and not to report, the aged and infirm working at whatever jobs they can find, the homeless everywhere, the beggars, the filth roadside, the severe health issues seen at every turn (people everywhere too fat to walk, carrying oxygen, diabetes inflicted, toothless), casinos one after another, hideous roads, etc. ad naseum, lead me to but one conclusion: the US is fucked. It grieves me to say it. It disgusts me to see it.
Of all of these things, the most serious is the blinkered people. They have no insight, no curiosity, no sense of understanding of the world, no vision of anything outside their tiny bubble of existence.
There are far too many people. California has 40 million, almost double that of Australia, which is more or less the size of the lower 48. I struggle to breathe around such masses.
I can feel the desperation wherever I go, but the people cannot see that they cause their own issues by living far beyond their means, with leased cars and pickups, and mortgaged to the hilt.
I spoke with many relying on pensions, who do not realize the precariousness of their positions. I ask how well funded are their plans, and they stare at me mouths agape, unable to even grasp the question.
I spoke to many business owners, who are so angry it defies belief. To a man, they are wanting to throw in the towel. Government has choked them to death, and dealing with employees is killing them day by day. One has seven lawsuits going, and has been sued 25 times. He services equipment for other companies. Whenever an idiot maims someone with the equipment he services, he gets roped into the lawsuit. The equipment never fails, but some idiot, not employed by him, runs over someone, and he gets sued, guilty by association.
The immigration policy of the US is helping destroy the country. As a reference point, Australia takes a couple hundred thousand immigrants a year, talent based. Talent based. Compare that to the US insanity.
On and on it goes.
So I say this. Get out if you can. I recommend New Zealand or Australia. Others might recommend somewhere else. These countries have issues, but they are a few decades behind those that the US has. If not that, then if possible move away from the big cities.
I am sorry it has come to this.
Most people support the police state until they become a victim of it.
Defending the government just gets tougher everyday.
One wonders how much dirt the NSA has on Trump to make him defend the police state so strongly.
The US is a police state now. Americans should be out in the streets with pitchforks and torches, but instead they would rather shut up, cover their ears, and put their heads in the sand.

Americans are so enslaved now that Americans scream that anyone who loves freedom, peace, and balanced budgets is a traitor and must get out of the USA.
Americans cannot see hypocrisy.
Americans swear that Biden is an evil monster for embracing war, debt, and tyranny, but then Americans turn around and insist Trump is a holy god for supporting war, debt, and the police state.
Strange how Trump can quickly regulate airline seats and ban bump stocks, but is powerless to stop illegal immigrants, reduce refugees, end wars, end Obamacare, reduce the debt, or restore the Bill of Rights.

Americans are only interested in bread and circuses, celebrities, movies, sports, sex, drugs, or irrelevant issues like free college, homosexuality, and slavery reparations.
Americans say surrender is the answer to tyranny.
Americans are not interested in solutions to the collapse. Americans only want to blame, point fingers, and say that they're not at fault and not responsible for anything.
Why can't Americans unite and agree that debt, wars, and tyranny are bad?
Do you think things would change in the US if Americans protested? What if the Gestapo, government workers, politicians, and soldiers went to work and were not sure that they would come home? What if Americans attacked government buildings?
Some of the problems with tyranny is that remaining silent means that you accept debt, wars, curfews, gun bans, NSA wiretapping, checkpoints, forfeiture, the end to the right to silence, free speech bans, torture, kill lists, no fly lists, searches without warrants, private prisons, mandatory minimums, 3 strikes laws, DNA databases, CISPA, SOPA, NDAA, IMBRA, FBAR, FATCA, TSA groping, secret FISA courts, and Jade Helm.
Assange is in jail because of your silence.
The blood from US wars is on your hands.
Another problem with tyranny is that it grows.
Do Americans think that because straws are illegal now that the USA is a paradise? Do you think tyranny will not continue?
The US seems to be waiting for a spark like Yorktown today.
Will Americans revolt when the stock market crashes, property is nationalized, books are burned, guns are confiscated national ID card are required, passports are revoked, domestic travel permits are required, Americans are required to submit a DNA sample, give fingerprints, get microchip implants, and be registered in a facial scan database, Internet filters are required on all computers, mobile phones are banned, the Internet is shut down, free speech and protests are illegal, reporters are arrested, government loudspeakers are installed on street corners, newspapers, magazines, and TV and radio stations are closed, churches are shut, neighborhood watch groups are set up, undercover police are everywhere, warrantless home searches are routine, taxes are raised, cash is banned, there are negative interest rates, bank fees, bail-ins, capital controls, gold is outlawed, torture and extra-judicial assassinations are routine, government drones and robots patrol everywhere, lawyers are arrested, elections are canceled, juries are banned, courts have show trials, congress is eliminated, Americans are required to wear uniforms and attend study sessions, or concentration camps are opened and Americans are starved and killed?
What if Americans never rebel?
How do people live under tyranny?
If you lived in China in 1947 would you join the Communists, fight Communists, or flee to Taiwan?

How would feel if you lived in North Korea and were in a concentration camp because your dad found a Bible?

In theory, the $22 trillion US debt could be paid off in 6 years if 100% of US tax revenues from the $4 trillion annual budget went toward the debt and Social Security was ended.
This will not happen because the elites have paid off the politicians and too many people make money from welfare and the wars.
The only end to the debt will be a a total collapse of the economy like the USSR.
No one knows, but a stock market crash could happen in the next 10 years. Social Security will be bankrupt in 2034.
Leaving now would be the best bet.
Consider moving to Chile or New Zealand.
Tyranny didn't work out too well for the USSR, Nazi Germany, and Cambodia so why are Americans embracing it?

Not true - social security is the necessary evil and should have NEVER been "stolen/borrowed" against because the US Congress can't control its spending for minorities...if the elites paid THEIR full amount of SSAN, it would have enough funds to go to 2155...@dcjogger
The Social Security system did not begin as an attempt to sabotage people's ability to plan for retirement, but it has worked out that way. The politicians who originally planned the system probably had no idea how it would turn out. But today's politicians know the system is rotted, and yet they refuse to make the changes necessary to free the American people from it. Instead, they make it worse.
