They've already put many American-born citizens into those camps by "accident." One guy was locked up for 1,273 days. All it takes is for the government to flip a little switch and start targeting the Americans they don't agree with. Liberty is a frail and frightened creature in this country. It turns more authoritarian every day.

If you built an illegal home and it fell down, would the government be liable?

If you built a licensed house and it collapsed, would the government be responsible?

The same moral police officer who earns $24,000 per year and says that he loves the Bill of Rights might be happy to torture if he was paid $100,000 a year.

@dcjogger It's realizations like this that turn liberals into Socialists, and conservatives into Libertarians.

Socialists and Libertarians have a lot more in common with each other than the petty ranks of Democrats and Republicans. Those predictable partisan sides are manufactured to keep people bickering about wasteful things.

It's still hilarious to find liberals that actually think Obama was a good president, given all the innocent people his administration murdered in war, and how they bullied Aaron Swartz into killing himself. And of course he destroyed privacy rights beyond the Patriot Act, with his Executive Order 12333.

This country would be incredible if all the "fuck Obama" and "fuck Trump" folks came together and started building their own society without the "help" of the current government.
