@ArdainianRight @amerika @hachi I have a family member who worked at a public school and they literally would not punish a gay couple kissing in the hallway because it would be "homophobic", despite it going against the school district's PDA policy.

And mind you that this was a MIDDLE SCHOOL. For all we know these kids haven't even gone through puberty yet.

@djsumdog but we already have child labor camps: it's called public schools and for most children it's the equivalent of mentally chipping rocks every day, without payment. possibly while being bullied by some asshole and the jail guards are doing zilch as it's too much of a hassle.

@naaksit @djsumdog The fact that children can technically start their own business, but can't work a job doesn't make sense to me.

@djsumdog If it's child selling, it's a one time payment that only goes to the parents.

Libertarians of Fedi. Should we bring back child labor?

@djsumdog Do you mean children voluntarily working for companies or parents selling their children to companies?

Adding the difficulty curve to the game by making it so that certain enemies only appear in certain levels. For example, for the first four levels, only the slimes and skeletons appear.

I really hate that there are so many people who use Windows only because "the Linux community is infested with trannies."

I got the credits implemented. Right now, it's literally the same as the credits in Distant Ruins because I used the same source files along with the credits.txt file from that game.

_98% of central banks agree to eliminate cash and implement CBDCs, a new WEF report says_

"The World Economic Forum released a report on 16 April claiming 98 per cent of the world’s central banks have agreed to implement a cashless society by eliminating physical cash and switching to central bank digital currencies.

Despite almost zero coverage in the mainstream corporate media, this sea change in the way transactions are conducted has been decades in the making and will end the concept of privacy and anonymity, Leo Hohmann writes."

You can't parse HTML with regex. Because HTML can't be parsed by regex. Regex is not a tool that can be used to correctly parse HTML. As I have answered in HTML-and-regex questions here so many times before, the use of regex will not allow you to consume HTML. Regular expressions are a tool that is insufficiently sophisticated to understand the constructs employed by HTML. HTML is not a regular language and hence cannot be parsed by regular expressions. Regex queries are not equipped to break down HTML into its meaningful parts. so many times but it is not getting to me. Even enhanced irregular regular expressions as used by Perl are not up to the task of parsing HTML. You will never make me crack. HTML is a language of sufficient complexity that it cannot be parsed by regular expressions. Even Jon Skeet cannot parse HTML using regular expressions. Every time you attempt to parse HTML with regular expressions, the unholy child weeps the blood of virgins, and Russian hackers pwn your webapp. Parsing HTML with regex summons tainted souls into the realm of the living. HTML and regex go together like love, marriage, and ritual infanticide. The <center> cannot hold it is too late. The force of regex and HTML together in the same conceptual space will destroy your mind like so much watery putty. If you parse HTML with regex you are giving in to Them and their blasphemous ways which doom us all to inhuman toil for the One whose Name cannot be expressed in the Basic Multilingual Plane, he comes. HTML-plus-regexp will liquify the nerves of the sentient whilst you observe, your psyche withering in the onslaught of horror.
