Despite the 'non-woke' framing Xlibre was forked under, it's a net good that a fork exists to take in the hundreds of PRs that the original project ignored.

@TrueMasterCole @branman65 As someone who was actually around and aware of the gaming scene when the Dreamcast was around, I feel it has become the ultimate Overrated underrated console (the GameCube has also become a lesser version of this), because there really was not all that much excitement for the console back when it actually launched. As a game (ignoring the graphics) Sonic Adventure was considered massively inferior to something like Mario 64, Shenmue was overhyped and underdelivered, and while the console was considered to have plenty of good games, and brought some genuinely cool innovations (like Phantasy Star Online's online gameplay), it ultimately lacked that big System Seller which could have given it the necessary momentum to survive the PS2's arrival.
This universal Dreamcast Love we see today absolutely did not exist during 1998-2002. There's a reason it ended up with sub-Wii U sales.
