You guys are willing to waste money on a stupid pig meme but won't help your fedi gamedevs like me?

@bloodaxe We are not looking for money at the moment. Our expenses are covered (for the next 50 years, actually, if it doesn't get more expensive) and everything else just sits on the bank account unused. We would much prefer you donating to your favorite podcast(er)s instead, so they stay away from closed platforms and continue to offer the podcasts in the open RSS format.

Anyway this reminds me: Maybe webcomic artists should offer (payed or gratis) something like CBZ/ePub/PDF archives of their works possibly grouped together in volumes?

Like pretty sure I could mirror webcomic websites, but I'm sure less techie readers would love to also have offline copies.

man i sure do love watching videos that have really cool information in them told in an exciting and engaging manner only for the dude talking in it to feel the need to morally grandstand about how elon musk and john carmack are pricks at the end after reading off a sponsor for a fucking nft gambling game.

Using proprietary "AI" tools is one thing.

But allowing them run shell commands on your system without explicit manual approval for each command is a whole different can of worms.

I want you guys to know that I almost bought an m5 macbook to raffle off for christmas but I found out that in Canada (and the US) you need a license to hold a raffle or lottery and it needs to be overseen by people trained by the government and shit. I literally had it in my cart and I was buying it and we were on VC and one of my friends encouraged me to look into the law. Almost ended up in prison fr

Here's what it currently looks like! I would let you guys mess around with it right now but unfortunately, saves aren't saved between versions at the moment. I'd hate for you guys to lose progress just for updating.

As you can see, the Android UI is also currently visible with no way to remove it. I'm kind of relying on the person who made the program to build an android version to fix these things, and I'm hoping they do!

Since touch input doesn't work everywhere, I've added these overlay buttons. You can turn them off with the C button, but that one will always stay there. As of right now, that's the best place for it. There's also a bit of a bug with it not letting you hide the controls during messages, so I submitted a report to the creator of this plug-in too.

There are definitely some issues here lol, but hopefully they can be smoothed out so we can get some legitimate testing in! I want to see if the game can be completed from beginning to end on my phone, that would be awesome.

While I'm waiting for updates on those, I'll probably start looking into an embedded web version to put on Newgrounds next.

I'll fix some of the glaring issues with God's Disdain for the android port and then just drop an apk here if any of you guys want to test it out to see if there are any other weird quirks. It'll be like super early alpha so it will be using the default touch controls and everything. I'll need to add some buttons to menus and I'll still need to resize everything to fit the screen better, but it'll be more of a proof of concept.

@xianc78 tinfoil theory: installing unstable people who only have their cultist in-group (which will destroy them for dissent, like cults do) is perfect to get backdoors into things.
