February 26 (Wednesday) is "Tell A Fairy Tale Day". So if you have written a fairy tale or a fairy tale adaption, if you have a favourite fairy tale or anything else to share about fairy tales, the upcoming Wednesday is a good opportunity for that.

#DigitalerKolonialismus #FediBooks
(comment on Digitaler Kolonialismus)
The book is starting really strong, with an analysis and explanation of digital colonialism and critical economic theory. A lot of empirical evidence is provided but it does not disrupt the reading flow. Rather it makes me want to continue. Can definitely recommend so far! #FediBooks #DigitalColonialism #DigitalDegrowth #Degrowth #Colonialism #MichaelKwet

an update on the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Anna Waterhouse book about Mycroft Holmes I mentioned the other day.
I finished the other book I was reading. it had a nice final twist.
I dug right into the Mycroft book and by the time I got through the first chapter I knew I was going to like it. I’m almost 1/3 of the way through it now and it keeps getting better.
both books set in the Victorian era. 1st one archaeology, 2nd on Mycroft’s government job.
@fu #Fedibooks was simple #Fediverse software that makes it easy to run #markov-based bots.
All I want for #Christmas is for #Fedibooks to come back
I miss #Fedibooks, it was really nice being able to run a #Markov bot from the web

I read Maria DeBlassie's short story "Hungry Business" which is free as an ebook (only today) and wow, that was an interesting mix of horror and romance. And Zombies. Everything is better with Zombies.

@posrev @mimiheartskoo @notcaseyrollins @notcaseyrollins The bot uses markov chains to post AI-generated posts, based on my previous posts. @graf runs the software, so I’m not sure what software he’s using, but I presume it’s very similar to #Fedibooks back when it was still alive
@galena You know #Fedibooks let you do that but the site is still down last I heard
@maloki
Turns out, now I think about it, I might need some recommendations myself.

Anne McCaffrey, so long as you don't mind a scientific explanation for dragons or in her other series, a bit of ESP. It's been a long time since I've read them though.
I’ll be less active here because school starts fr tomorrow.
If you want more posts from me bring back #Fedibooks so that I can make a bot out of all my posts
