So I got around to seeing #JohnWick4 — what a crazy, absurd, insane #movie in all the best ways. To call it an #ActionFilm is an understatement. Love me some Keanu, but also Donnie Yen, Scott Adkins, Hiroyuki Sanada, Shamier Anderson, Marko Zaror, Rina Sawayama, Clancy Brown, Bill Skarsgard (to say nothing of returning regulars like Ian McShane, Lawrence Fishburne, and Lance Reddick)… it’s an embarrassment of riches.

I love this song but I think the French version they used in #JohnWick4 is also a banger.

This has one of the most recognizable guitar riffs ever..

#Watching JOHN WICK CHAPTER 4

As far as 4th entries of Keanu Reeves action franchises go, JW4 is as exhilarating as Matrix 4 was limp and tedious.
With a story as a rest stop between shootouts, 4 keeps you invested even as you know you're watching an ultraviolent cartoon. After 4 movies, you're surprised at how much you care about the core characters, even if it is superficially.
I'd look forward to a 5th one, but at almost 3 hours JW4 does suffer from some Peter Jackson Fight Scene Fatigue, but then again, have we ever cared if John Wick committed overkill?
spoilery- My favorite sequence was in the club, because even with bullets and bloodshed our clubbers are still dancing. That must be some amazing music.
Bill Skarsgard's French accent is a lot like my Mexican accent.

So how good is #JohnWick4? Full review coming soon (my first in ages!) but as a distillation of the action genre, it’s as pure as they come. Among the casualties, however, are logic and cohesion…

So my husband finally got me to sit down and watch #johnwick the 1st one. I had never seen it, assumed it wouldn’t be my thing.

But I kinda…loved it?

I mean I’m totally against murder by the State, but Keanu Reeves murdering all the Russian assassins who killed his cute little puppy? Full support !

It was great to see a movie with an audience.

This movie was 3 hours of fun and laughter. One scene in particular had the audience howling with laughter. There was fighting and car chases and explosions oh my! And yet there were also scenes of genuine connection and emotion.

The ending was inevitable and yet handled well.

I give it 8 out of 10 (3 off for length and editing, but 1 back for a kicking sound track)

So. My attempt at a non-spoiler review of John Wick 4.

It was about 30 minutes too long. Some scenes should have been trimmed or even eliminated and it wouldn't have harmed the movie.
They totally upped the John Wick is actually a super soldier like Capt America thing. To the point of absurdity really.
