Finished participating in Anime Matsuri 2024 in Houson recently.
Surprisingly i did WAY better then i thought and made a profit selling my prints. Also made lots of artist friends that was selling their art at the convention giving me tips and other places i could sell as well. Had dinner with them as well.
Really had a great time and im definitely going to do more selling art at cons. Also going to upload the art that i made on fedi at a later date.#art #anime #animematsuri2024 #animematsuri

Finally arrived at Houston Texas for anine matsuri. This will be the second time I'm visiting the convention because otakon is doubling down on the coronchan BS.
The major anti-woke youtubers (nerdrotic, geeks and gamers, thatstarwarsgirl, young Rippa) will be visiting for the weekend. All of the Houston convention center exhibit halls will be used and there will be two short anime movies featuring vic and funimation allumi that will appear on Friday. Finally there will be a ferris wheel that will be available from Thursday to Sunday straight from the show stranger things.
Expect a lot of cosplay photos and videos from my end from Thursday to sunday...

Anime Matsuri, a convention held in houston texas, has taken the Unprecedented move of founding their own anime dubbing studio, with Vic Mignogna as ADR Director ,and bringing with him a slew of alumni from Funimation Studios (now known as Crunchyroll Studios). The Convention Runners (also the con owners) John and Denise are the executive producers of both anime (Zip! Shimezo and Genbanojo). And they will be dubbing more anime in the future as they are acquiring more licenses for anime as we speak.

Anime Matsuri was hellbent on operating during the 2020 Coronachan Panic in Texas that they started producing the 2020 merch. They were all available in their 2021 convention. It's worth noting that the convention operated in total normacy in comparison in most of the anime conventions and fan conventions that operated with heavy hygiene threater.
I will be attending AM 2022.
