It's #Pride Season in #Canada, and some people are throwing around the phrase "Diversity makes us strong," which anachronistically perpetuates ancient patriarchal values where good things are strong. In reality, #diversity is a characteristic of #decision-making groups that are less likely to fail repeatedly, when confronted with challenges. Diverse perspectives & sources of information contribute to excellent decision-making. Meanwhile, lifting weights & eating protein makes us strong.
