Ok, slow down. He's not the 'second coming,' he's still the corporate Democrat who takes massive amounts of money from the pharmaceutical industry. Everyone calling for him to run in 2028 needs to look at his history and not just this stunt. We need PROGRESS, not the same old same old. Damn...there's just no keeping some folks happy is there? First thing I saw after reading the news this morning about the marathon #filibuster that #corybooker took on was from #democrats talking about how it was performative.
Just...wow. Y'all have been screaming about how Democrats haven't been doing anything for months now and when someone actually *does* something, it's not good enough? Bull shit.
It might not be what you personally wanted to see happen but protesting through the night is hardly what I call inaction. If you want to see more people standing up and fighting, maybe try applauding the folks who do instead of immediately ripping them apart because their methods didn't look like whatever fever dream you've imagined fighting back against #trump and #musk is *supposed* to look like.
To me, this looks like a start and I really hope to see more of it.
