For the #devops people out there: I have a docker swarm cluster with ~40 stacks running on it, and I've been using #traefik all this time as proxy and ingress controller. Since upgrading to 3.4 , some services are now losing connectivity even when the dashboard doesn't say anything. Anyone noticed anything like that? I have another cluster that is on 3.3 which doesn't seem to have these problems.

Just replaced the battery in an APC Smart-UPS and ran into a familiar wall.Even with brand-new hardware installed and running fine, the apcupsd daemon on Linux kept insisting: “UPS battery must be replaced.”
Turns out, when you’re interfacing over USB (UART emulation), many APC Smart-UPS models don’t expose full feature sets like battery date resets, self-tests, or alarm tests — even though they support them internally. It’s a reminder that hardware capability doesn’t always mean software accessibility, especially with proprietary protocols.
Takeaways:• USB HID UPS interfaces are convenient, but limited.
• Some functions (like resetting battery status) require PowerChute Business Edition or a SmartSlot SNMP accessory.
• If you’re relying on apcupsd for production systems, be aware of these limitations — and test your failover path manually if needed.
Now debating whether to install a network management card… or just live with the red LED and log spam.
