This handheld can transform from a regular handheld to a two-screen contraption. Here is my review of the ONEXSUGAR and all the crazy engineering they put into it: https://youtu.be/DLRKYoReFI0

Here's the article I was working on today, and the first I've written for The Register in a hot minute: a look at a new, generated-from-actual-1980s-hardware, 1.5-million-strong test suite for the Intel 286 and compatibles.
In 2025. Yes. Emulator devs are a different breed, I tell you, and we're all the richer for 'em.

HackadayAll right, it seems the CPLD flash script does not work with the newer OpenOCD 0.12.
After downgrading the deb package to version 0.11-rc2, I could unbrick my #PyStorm. Phew!
I'm testing a freshly assembled #PiStorm on a real Amiga 500.
I have no prior experience with the PiStorm, so I followed the README to install the system image onto a RaspberryPi 3, compile the emulator from git head and... run it!
The #Amiga started right away and loaded my SysInfo disk image. However, there are text rendering glitches, and the m68k emulator runs even slower than the original hardware running at 7 MHz

A brand new 68k Mac emulator quietly dropped last night!!
“Snow” can emulate the Mac 128k, 512k, Plus, SE, Classic, and II. It supports reading disks from bitstream and flux-floppy images, and offers full execution control and debugging features for the emulated CPU. Written using Rust, it doesn't do any ROM patching or system call interception, instead aiming for accurate hardware-level emulation.

(Edit: I'm not the author - just spotted this on the Emaculation forum and had to share it!)
