Dining and CookingRaspberry Pi OS gets a new update
Raspberry Pi is a small single-board computer originated in the United Kingdom that features a very cost-effective computing platform while maintaining high performance with the help of the powerful ARM64 processor. It runs a special version of Debian optimized for such computers, called Raspberry Pi OS, to take full advantage of its features.
Recently, Raspberry Pi has released a new version of their own operating system that is still based on the Debian 12 Bookworm released on June 10th, 2023. It is hinted that this new version of Raspberry Pi OS is going to be most likely the last version that uses said version of Debian before moving on to Debian 13 Trixie when the official release commences.
According to their official newsroom, they said that there have been some changes made to the OS since November of the last year.
The swaylock lock screen application has been modified to add more feedback to the user instead of just a white screen.
The automatic login option has been split into two: desktop and console. This is done to improve security of your Raspberry Pi.
The new printer config application has been introduced to make managing printers simpler and more intuitive.
The mouse emulation settings can now be accessed when managing touch screens to make it easier to use it.
The Linux kernel has been upgraded to 6.12 to add new features and to incorporate many improvements.
Many changes have also been done to improve the performance of your Raspberry Pi to save time when working on your project, such as when working on your new application written in Python or C#.

Es hat ja “ein wenig gedauert”, aber nun konnte ich alles in einem Gehäuse unterbringen.
Der Umzug von einem “Raspberry Pi 5” zu einem “Raspberry 2 Zero W” war, bis auf das Übertragen des Encryption Keys, auch nicht zu schwer.
Aber da konnte mir Mark den richtigen Hinweis geben.

Es hat ein wenig gedauert, obwohl zwei Tage ja auch nicht lange ist, um meine Endgeräte von Meshtastic auf Reticulum umzustellen, aber nun läuft wohl alles rund.
Es funktioniert bisher:
Mein Smartphone über Bluetooth und LoRa (Heltec V3) oder (!) über Mobilfunk / Wi-Fi 
SNT1 (Transportnode)
Letzterer ist ein Raspberry und über USB an einen Heltec V3 (LoRa) angeschlossen und natürlich auch an das Internet.
So sind, egal welches Transportmedium (LoRa oder Internet) genutzt wird, alle untereinander zu erreichen. Mein Smartphone bei eingeschaltetem Wi-Fi oder Mobilfunk natürlich auch direkt ohne den Umweg über den SNT1.
In Not- oder Krisensituationen kann ich das Smartphone über eine Powerbank weiter betreiben; der Transportnode SNT1 läuft dann über eine USV.
Einen Reichweitentest, diesmal über Reticulum und LoRa, werde ich wohl am Wochenende starten.

Oh c'est cool ils ont re-sorti un nouveau Raspberry-clavier : En gros c'est un clavier qui intègre un Raspberri Pi 5 avec toute la connectique qu'il faut : USB, Ethernet, double sortie HDMI, etc. Plutôt cool comme poste de travail.
Comme le fait remarquer l'auteur de l'article, ça rappelle tellement l'époque des ordinateurs-clavier (Amiga, AtariST, Oric, MO5 et TO7...)

Having a fun day. I'm trying different modules on the Raspberry Pi Pico and finding most of the demo software and demo libraries don't work. I get the same with Arduino. Why people publish stuff that doesn't work baffles me.

Nach langer Recherche hat der Boomer mal wieder gebastelt und jetzt werden beide #eautos endlich solaroptimiert geladen. Die Info war seither, mit dem #SMA Home Manager 1.0 geht das nicht, da keine Kommunikation mit der #Wallbox möglich ist.
Dank @evcc ist das Problem jetzt gelöst, die Mennekes Wallbox hört auf die SW auf dem #Raspberry auch ohne einbinden von WR & Batterie. Die Infos aus dem SMA Energy Meter reichen völlig #elektromobilität & #photovoltaik

Doma mi sedí #Raspberry Pi zaintegrované do klávesnice, na kterém mi běží #HomeAssistant. Na VPS jsem si rozběhal Wireguard, do kterého jsem zapojil laptop, mobil i ono #Rpi.
Takže teď se můžu odkudkoliv dívat na grafy v HA na mém klávesnicopočítači, který nemá veřejnou IP adresu.
Pochvalte mě aspoň tady, rodině to nic neříká. :-D
