I finished readin' Malika Warrior Queen Volume 1 by Roye Okupe not too long ago. I enjoyed every bit of it. It has a great story and characters. It's mostly based on West African Cultures, Folklore, and History. It's proof that Original Black Characters and Stories can be done.
