Just got done playin' some Shinobi 2002 for a bit. I didn't Beat Stage 2-B yet. But I'll definitely will someday. The Game's Tough And Challengin'. And I Love it for that.

I recommend checking out primalsplay.com, it seems like your vibe. In monster missions there's a shadow figure fighting monsters... also it's a hentai RPG game, and well, I won't spoil it for ya.
