@KayFaraday while im pro map community (im in it, lol) i think the current state of the community is far from perfect. i have 0 doubt the community *can* be pretty good, but so many maps have trauma from antis that it tends to lead to people trying so hard to not be at all antimap that they persecute others for sharing any characteristics with antis.
something that made me realize this was, for those who were here 7 months ago, when i was being groomed by fulcrum and decided (stupidly) to publicly voice my support (he was lying to me and i was reliant on him, but thats beside the point). instead of people wondering why a 14 year old was supporting a known child predator and manipulator, i was harassed and driven out of the community, which pushed me towards him more, especially since i take rejection horribly by anyone.
i understand that reaction, antis and especially fulcrum are horrible. but trauma isnt an excuse to be shitty and cause more harm.
i also have a large problem with pro cs in the community. i may be biased because of my ocd (i get intrusive thoughts around becoming pro c or my friends becoming pro c, among other things), but from my point of view, theyre infectious. maps and map allies are generally more tolerant of pro cs than teleios, which isnt shocking at all, and that leaves room for them to debate contact discourse. i used to be more tolerant towards antis, and not only did it harm my mental health significantly but it also let room for fulcrum to manipulate me.

2) yes, supporting an inherently abusive relationship is nefarious, cry about it.
2) supporting separation, incarceration, and gaslighting of loved youth is nefarious, so is branding the diverse range of youth+adult love as all all "inherently abusive" - go fuck yourself :)

i dont support incarcerating *kids,* and im pro prison reform anyway. but i dont think adults who prey on kids should get away scot free. if by some miraculous chance the victim isnt harmed, i accept that.
children can not consent! youre the human equivalent of a participation award
repeating the same nonsense slogans does not make them more true.
