@aWhiteGuy His mother's real name is Мария Ивановна Шеломова (Maria Ivanovna Shelomova). Russian patronyms mean her dad's first name was Shelom. I don't think I need to tell you that's not Russian

I might be wrong but I can't find any actual info on the etymology, it's purely just about his family, which makes me doubt it's some general family name instead of foreign
