No, people need to adjust their priorities. You can still have 3 children even in this environment, it may mean you never get to go on a European vacation in your life. Would you be OK with not doing stuff like that? That's what most people have to decide.

A lot of Millennials are slowly coming to grips that their standard of living will never be what their parents had, and are changing their priorities, as late in the game as it is.
This is a good point, people who view children as a quantitative asset which is purely an economic thing are mentally poisoned.
