Japan and the US will collapse, but they will collapse differently.
Japan is a bankrupt police state. The USA is a bankrupt warmongering police state with guns, negroes, illegal immigrants, and refugees.
Japan will probably just go bankrupt and the Japanese will die off because the population is not growing.
The US might collapse violently with a civil war, concentration camps, and WWIII.

Japan won't survive for another 25 years and most likely will be colonized and then annexed into China.
That's provided that China's expansionist ambitions continue and its economic, military and geopolitical strengths will remain or grow further.
A "leaked" (veracity is up to question) document out of Beijing envisage the Chinese annexation of Okinawa by 2025 and absorption of Japan and Korea into its power sphere by 2040 at the latest.
