The Lithuanian parliament has received a draft constitutional act, which may mean the complete elimination of minority languages from educational institutions and the lithuanization of 70 Polish language schools
@HotPolishTakes Sure... but it's in Lithuania. It's like nationalism in action. Is there more to the story I should know about Lithuanians?
@HotPolishTakes >the Lithuanian capital city belongs to Poland DAAAMN! That's a hell of a territorial claim. :pepeshock:
@rasterman

Vilnus region is still a Polish majority area today, in 1931 census only 5% of residents of Vilnus spoke Lithuanian as their mother tongues.
@HotPolishTakes I see. So who's the imperialist getting into another country's territory here? Poland or Lithuania?

@rasterman @HotPolishTakes Poland seem to be pushing their unreasonable petty nationalism again, first it was against Ukrainians and Bandera, now it's about "discrimination" in a form of learning Lithuanian in Lithuania

@secret_aspie @rasterman Imagine the "petty nationalism" if hebrew was banned in new york city
@HotPolishTakes @secret_aspie @rasterman As it should be. New Yorkers need to return to Tel Aviv and stop invading America.
