I hate these nationalist-adjacent statements from the right about honoring America. We're not obligated to honor and respect the country. We should only do so if we like the country and think it's on the right path.
The #USA has been on an AWFUL path for the past five years, at least! The country continually gets worse and worse. At what point does the nation get bad enough for the right to say "I don't want to affirm and worship this state anymore"? The line isn't clear.

@realcaseyrollins ... No. Children don't need to be taxed for learning social behaviour either, if anything the school resources should go to arming children and educating them on proper warfare.
@Angelee No I really don't think the state should be "educating" children, between parents and the internet, schools are far from necessary in terms of becoming well-rounded and educated
@realcaseyrollins I mean what sort of psycho/socio path demands children pledge allegiance to their country and ideas? Just to go-to school and learn the skills best for you to serve their goals. It's sorta narcissistic and obsessive.
