CCP has been too nice to me and meanies returned!

I can't wait for the meltdown titled "NO MAPS AREN'T THE SAME AS GAY PEOPLE STOP COMPARING THEM REEEEEEE"
It always sets them off and it's my favourite thing

Ok somehow the more I'm on CCP, the more people are willing to chat with me and come to conclusion that maps aren't as dangerous

Am I really having more civil conversations here than on twitter about maps being good people? And they actually listen and agree???
Really shows how much of a waste of time twitter is

@Kiriribusaki it can be easy to dismiss reasonable assertions that even most people would normally agree on if they fall under a negative label

@Droidgirl Very true, but honestly if that was twitter they would just start insulting me or sending death threats instead of y'know, trying to agree with me even tho I'm a pedophile
I think the fact that some people are *really big* whales here makes them act more polite
And boards [where those discussions take place] aren't very public, you have to go into someones profile to interact on their board, and even then you don't get any notif when someone responds to you on someones board, so conversations really require engagement from the other side
On twitter some popular schizo would qrt me and then 🔨 ban

@Kiriribusaki with the way twitter prioritizes engagement and therefore arguments and trolling on its platform, it really makes for a very unfun social media just in general
