When I first came back to psychiatry and found out they had assigned me a different therapist this time around, I was quite displeased with this, mostly because of the massive crush I had on my previous one there. But by now, I honestly think the change is probably a good thing.
Not just because the last time I had a session with my previous one, he told me I wasn't trying hard enough, despite me making it very clear that I was trying my best with the resources I had at the time. I think the way I idolized him was unhelpful, because it made me focus on him as a person instead of how he could help me. And I also think my new therapist might just generally be a better match for me and my set of problems.
It's funny how these things work sometimes.
@ComradeDeath i hope the change helps
Mainly gaming/nerd instance for people who value free speech. Everyone is welcome.
@Droidgirl Thank you. It's a long way ahead of me, but at least I'm going in the right direction
