I like exploring new decentralized technology and I've certainly found mastodon more engaging than Gab, especially since Gab unceremoniously dropped support for their Android app last year. I'm not up-to-date on the current happenings of Gab, and I really couldn't care less now that I've discovered mastodon.

@matrix It's difficult to watch Dave when he gets like that. The claim that Christianity was essential in developing Western civilizations might hold water in a universe where the Dark Ages hadn't occurred.

I feel similarly irate when he complains that sports are "distracting people from the real issues." I don't even watch sports and I still find this attitude condescending, if not downright totalitarian. He seems to want everyone's attention to be directed at only the things he deems important.
