Before there was Chun Li from Street Fighter II in 1991 by Capcom. There was Onna Sanshirō (Onna Sanshirou) Typhoon Gal back in 1985 by Taito. She was the first playable Female Character in Fighting Games. She's also the First Female Grappler in Fighting Games as well. So let's put some respect in her name.
