Why I love this it’s just like mine except it’s in color.
Well they’ve managed to control us with a virus scare, I’m sure that they’re planning a climate change scare soon. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez said her new Green New Deal would have helped to prevent the blackouts in Texas. It’s illogical for her to believe that climate change, global warming, and white supremacy are causing blackouts, but logic isn’t illuminating the socialist mind of AOC. Also, Sen. Schumer said he hopes Texas “learned a lesson,” attributing the significant energy issues to officials who have “ignored #climate change.”
Honestly, I’m not sure if I can believe anything I read, hear or see. This is a perfect case in point. Apparently, here’s another resource that we’re just wasting.

@vandys @ohellno @agentcasey the thing with Movim is that it's an XMPP client, so yeah it does initiate and handle the connections, it's not really a "proxy" in that sense. It's no worse than any web-based client.
The "desktop" version does largely run as a browser loading stuff on a web server still, but there's no reason any standalone desktop XMPP client couldn't do exactly what Movim does, compatibly, except nobody's written one yet.
@fluffy The old articles are still visible on archive.org, without the pics and gists (source code)
I'm a little upset that Medium won't let archive.org do a proper archival for posterity... 🙁
(My new articles on GitHub Pages archive properly with archive.org)
“What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly: it is dearness only that gives every thing its value. Heaven knows how to put a proper price upon its goods; and it would be strange indeed if so celestial an article as freedom should not be highly rated.”
“The heights by great men reached and kept were not attained in sudden flight but, they while their companions slept, they were toiling upwards in the night.”
