Igel is way too good at picking locks. I wonder who thought him how to do it... :blobthinkingglare:

Found a guildmaster that can rename characters. So I made sure to have @canidaeportent@kiwifarms.cc 's Vincent as a badass Knight and @FailurePersonified 's George as a Wizard. (initially I wanted for George to be a Cleric, but my cleric is a lady).

On top of that, I made sure I had @igeljaeger as a Thief, @toast as the second Wizard and @theblessing as the Cleric.

Bad news is, I can't customize my party much in the NES version of the game. PC and Apple versions are better at that, but from my understanding PC version graphics are the absolute worst, and I'm just not emulating Apple.
Besides looking nice, the NES version should also be a tiny bit easier, which might be a benefit to someone newer to the franchise.

Well... Here I go. This is going to be... interesting I hope. I can't help but dread that 1986 gaming experience is going to be very tedious.

I might actually start to use this instance for what god intended, and post some gaming adventures.

This my friends, is Might & Magic Book One. The first game of a series that is falsely believed to be about fantasy. When it reality it's sci-fi.

Didn't even notice that until just now. Cool. Anyone know how many people die from the flu per year? (although the comparison wouldn't yet be accurate, since most places around the world weren't affected by the wuflu for the same amount of time as a regular flu season.)

Himawari holding a toddler Hinata is the cutest thing I've seen this week.

Here's something I don't get. Since our planet's albedo, or how much of the Sun's light and heat it reflects back into space, is so important, and we're so concerned about melting ice because it reduces this albedo and heats up the planet more, why don't we paint building roofs white?

The solution described in this article is interesting too, but it involves tempering with the natural environment. Why not instead change the already existing artificial environment humans created, and increase the albedo of it?

I imagine making streets white might not be possible and it would be massively inconvenient to have a lot of sunlight reflect into our eyes while driving. But what if we made roofs white, so that buildings would reflect more of the sunlight, instead of absorbing it and heating up the environment? Of course, ideally we'd have solar panels on roofs, harvesting that solar energy.
