I'm in utter disbelief... A Romanian grandma apparently read and reviewed Attack on Titans. The channel's name is literally "Grandma's reviews". It seems she's been reading all kinds of books. GRR Martin, Tolkien, Frank Herbert... some of the biggest names.

I assumed they would be using AI voices for these, cause that's all the rage now. I didn't try to open the video, cause who wants to watch some German thing. But no. They're voiced with Google's shitty TTS.
The one time I thought YouTube would be doing something somewhat cool, and they blow it.

This is why I HATE the free software (or open source, or whatever terminology people prefer) fanatics. The point of GOOD software is that you DON'T need to stalk random forums to find notes for a potential solution to your problem. The point of GOOD software is that you don't encounter problems. FULL STOP.
You're not advocating for good software. You're advocating for people to torment and torture themselves with shitty, incomplete, buggy and messy software, just because it serves your deranged political views on computer code.

I take good software in whatever form I can get it, whether it's free software, open source, or proprietary. I'm not interested in bugs, I'm not interested to spend days having to configure things via text documents, I want software for humans.

Apparently Vance criticized my country for cancelling elections based on flimsy suspicious of Russian interference. And he's kinda right.

The accusations against Russia are quite serious. But the evidence we have so far is lousy. We have strong signs that Călin Georgescu, the candidate who was supposedly Russia's tool, did campaign financing fraud. And that's not gonna be hard to prove when the moron had the balls to declare in official papers that he spent $0. That's right, he reported to the agencies that track these things that he spent nothing to campaign. Riiight.

The problem is, I'm not sure if this crime itself is enough to merit cancelling the elections the way they were. So we still need to prove that Russian meddling.
There is some evidence so far, of a TikTok network of foreign IP accounts that botted to create fake hype for the guy. But there's still no clear tie to Russia, even if the modus operandi looks like it.

And considering how bad our prosecutors are at digging up evidence, I honestly think we're kinda fucked. The people are very unhappy.
