There. I fixed it for you.
@coolboymew
Which only added to my confusion.

I might have been wrong too initially. It might actually be mostly because of those thin lines on the outside/inside the circles.
It's easiest to notice when the circles are "moving" in only one direction, the lines are noticeable only on the orientation the circles are "moving". In that frame I posted, you can see lines on the top and bottom of both circles (and the circles are moving from top to bottom or bottom to top), but they shrink to nothing on the sides (and there's no sideways movement during this time).

The ultimate troll.

Never watched the anime. I read the manga, but I sped through it too fast, and everything was a bit confusing because of that. I never managed to remember the characters involved too well.
@Stellar
I remember that for a while they've fallen out of favor. It's somewhat recently that I've started seeing them again. I still remember how cool those midi tracks used to be back in late 90s.
BREAKING: Canadian Police Return With SWAT to Local Church Run by Artur Pawlowski
@Humpleupagus
Luckily it's rare that it actually happens. You need to do a bit more than just get into a random fight for your grade to be affected. I think it either needs to be a repeated behavior, or something explicitly planned.
