>pervert cancer
I keep thinking that he wanted to say "prevent cancer", but that's not it, is it? He probably really thinks colon cancer is caused or a sign of perversion.

You can't have experts. If you try that, the political ideologues will just double their efforts to infiltrate and pollute those fields. And that has bigger ramifications than just the parliament.

Got curious about these things a few years back. It was an interesting surprise when I learned alkaline batteries are almost 1.6v when new, and you can charge them.

@thor
I have a charger of an older Nokia model, and it says it outputs 3.7v at 355mA. But I also know those phones have a standard lithium-ion battery. And you need about 4.2v to fully charge those. So not entirely sure I trust the label. In fact, I don't trust it so much, that I tested the charger with a multimeter, and it says it outputs about 8.4-8.5v, which is double of what I expected.
I'm guessing there's some trickery involved and when the charger and the phone actually shake hands, that voltage gets halved to what it actually needs.

@thor
>meaning these phones can still make calls
There you go. The best phone you own. If Norway ends up in a post-apocalyptic scenario, make sure to have it in your travel bag.

@thor
Do cell networks still support it? Does the battery still hold a charge? If yes, then it's the best phone you'll ever have, never throw it away.

This was hilarious, but I have to ask: is boob insecurity a common trope Vtubers must conform to if they want to stay in the business?

@ZySoua
If Iran collapses from the inside, I'll be a very happy man. I don't even care about the Russian invasion. If Iran goes down, I'm calling 2022 the best year of the 21th century.

>Solar power can be stored
But it's currently not, and current energy storage solutions are either inefficient, expensive to set up, or just damaging to the environment (you know, the thing we're trying to protect in the first place).

I'm not trying to be anti-green here, I just really wish pro green people had the balls to admit to the shortcomings. And maybe realize there's a different green that would work much better in the modern context... radioactive green.

@Leyonhjelm
Don't know why, but "fetlife" sounds like the name of a veterinary clinic to me. I'm guessing that's not what it is.
