@colonelj
Technically it's a kind of virtual currency. In practice, it's just a gamification system.

@bagofshit@kiwifarms.cc @theblessing
Oh... Blessing is planning to make me a sandwich. She's such a fine lady. Clearly the best there is on fedi.

@canidaeportent@kiwifarms.cc @theblessing
Who said anything about a rabbi? We'll have Blessing do the honors.

@tk
Sport scholarships are literally working your way through college. Only, I think the school makes a lot more money than normal tuition and you don't get to keep any of it.

@canidaeportent@kiwifarms.cc
Magic should start to be more useful when the multi-target spells become available.

Igel is way too good at picking locks. I wonder who thought him how to do it... :blobthinkingglare:

Well, technically I have some control over level up in M&M. So I can make sure all characters level up at the same time if I want to. Problem solved.

@endlessmike @igeljaeger @FailurePersonified @canidaeportent@kiwifarms.cc @theblessing @toast
I wouldn't know about that... but M&M is supposed to have ways to grand eternal youth (sorta) to characters later on in the game. So no biggie.

@FailurePersonified @igeljaeger @canidaeportent@kiwifarms.cc @theblessing @toast
P.S. Interesting thing about leveling in Might and Magic 1 is that for each level, you age 1 year. Blessing has reached age of consent. :bloblewd:

@FailurePersonified @igeljaeger @canidaeportent@kiwifarms.cc @theblessing @toast
Lol, I just trained Blessing to level 2. She's the first one to raise in level.

@FailurePersonified @igeljaeger @canidaeportent@kiwifarms.cc @theblessing @toast
She even starts up with a Bless spell. (it's good against the undead).

Found a guildmaster that can rename characters. So I made sure to have @canidaeportent@kiwifarms.cc 's Vincent as a badass Knight and @FailurePersonified 's George as a Wizard. (initially I wanted for George to be a Cleric, but my cleric is a lady).

On top of that, I made sure I had @igeljaeger as a Thief, @toast as the second Wizard and @theblessing as the Cleric.

Bad news is, I can't customize my party much in the NES version of the game. PC and Apple versions are better at that, but from my understanding PC version graphics are the absolute worst, and I'm just not emulating Apple.
Besides looking nice, the NES version should also be a tiny bit easier, which might be a benefit to someone newer to the franchise.
