Fun fact: because Orthodox Christians have a different way of calculating when Easter is, Romanias usually have a different day then Catholics (and every other sect of Christianity). And it's usually one week after everyone else.

The only Japanese movie (not anime, but live action) I've seen so far was Shin Godzilla. While I don't think it was as exciting as American action movies, I found it was an interesting insight on how the Japanese see their government working in a time of crisis.

It finally happened. Igel learned so much Japanese, that there was no more space left in his brain for English. Now he only speaks German and Japanese.

Igel is way too good at picking locks. I wonder who thought him how to do it...

Vincent is 1-hit KO-ing these bastards

Found a guildmaster that can rename characters. So I made sure to have @canidaeportent@kiwifarms.cc 's Vincent as a badass Knight and @FailurePersonified 's George as a Wizard. (initially I wanted for George to be a Cleric, but my cleric is a lady).

On top of that, I made sure I had @igeljaeger as a Thief, @toast as the second Wizard and @theblessing as the Cleric.

Here's a small sample of what a battle can be like.

Bad news is, I can't customize my party much in the NES version of the game. PC and Apple versions are better at that, but from my understanding PC version graphics are the absolute worst, and I'm just not emulating Apple.
Besides looking nice, the NES version should also be a tiny bit easier, which might be a benefit to someone newer to the franchise.

Well... Here I go. This is going to be... interesting I hope. I can't help but dread that 1986 gaming experience is going to be very tedious.

I might actually start to use this instance for what god intended, and post some gaming adventures.
