Really weird mix of a dream...
Dreamt a little water spring I used to know was now a beautiful fast flowing river. Started to take a video of it.
Dreamt I got my hands on a Nokia 920 phone. Started to test out it's camera. It was pretty good, considering the age. It had a proprietary USB cable.
Dreamt there was such a strong wind outside, it was somehow sucking my computer mouse out the window, so I was desperately trying to recover it and close the window. The cord managed to get caught in the window frame a few times and flatten out. After that I decided to test the mouse to make sure it still worked, but somehow the USB connector was shaped like a power cord.
Dreamt that VR but especially AR devices/software could use RTX ray tracing to make the virtual part of the scenery actually fit with the natural lighting and make everything fit together much better. Ray tracing was also used to fix up uneven lighting while taking photos and enhanced details in them beyond belief. Dreamt up a weird stop motion demo video for this tech.
Seriously though, that ray tracing in AR might be something to look into. Make those conference calls replacement backdrops look better.
