@miria I'm not, companies exploiting open source code is a well documented phenomenon and idk why you want to avoid copyleft because it helps prevent that

@miria I'm a copyright anarchist so I use copyleft. They're not incompatible as copyright anarchy is closer to copyleft than permissive licensing

@KayFaraday If you abolish copyright you can't have copyleft though. You sound like one of those Marxists who are like "Yeah yeah we'll have a super strong state controlling every aspect of people's lives, but eventually it'll 'wither away' though!"

@miria @KayFaraday Also I think he's trying to make the point I made before. It's trying to take a step towards nullifying copyright by making any product of it permanently open. Would work without issues for you if it only covered shared data, e.g., "you can't make people unable to modify and redistribute binaries"
