The real problem with "age of consent" laws is that they grant legitimacy to the concept of femoid agency. Women should not be allowed to marry anyone without the permission of their oldest direct male relative, and sex outside of marriage should be illegal (death penalty for rapists and adulterers).

Furthermore, and relatedly, the concept of "marital rape" is inherently libtarded. Husbands and wives give each other explicit and perpetual "consent" to sexual relations when they make their wedding vows. You can do all sorts of horrible things to your wife deserving of jail time or execution, but by definition you cannot "rape" her. We have a word for the withdrawal of "consent" to sexual relations with your spouse, it's called divorce

@gigaracist @DK_Dharmaraj And the retarded dysgenics of them. The age a woman has kids is a multiplier

It's literally point #1 when it comes to population reduction

And forcing women to spend 6+ years fertile but idle for no reason leads to more promiscuity, obviously

@applejack @gigaracist @DK_Dharmaraj As far as I can tell, people don't marry young to start reproducing early so much as to ensure they monopolize their fertile years, since usually girls aren't fertile until a few years after menarche

@tengumatingpress @gigaracist @DK_Dharmaraj It's a bit of both, but what do you mean they're not fertile until a few years after menarche?

@applejack @gigaracist @DK_Dharmaraj If I remember correctly, in hunter-gatherer societies girls usually first get pregnant at around 17, even if they were married at 12

@tengumatingpress @gigaracist @DK_Dharmaraj Menarche means they're fertile regardless

Menarche is delayed if there isn't enough food though, so it's been known to only happen at like 16-17. Is that what you're thinking of?

@applejack @gigaracist @DK_Dharmaraj Ovulation usually begins at least a year after menarche, all menarche signals is the beginning of their menstrual cycle

Menstruation is part of ovulation. If this is an actual thing, I'd like a link to it

>The ovulation and menstruation cycle typically begins when a woman is between 8 and 15 years old.

@applejack @gigaracist @DK_Dharmaraj Here's a source, though it appears I slightly misread it: there is ovulation, but a good amount of early cycles are anovulatory

>In postmenarchal girls, about 80% of the cycles were anovulatory in the first year after menarche, 50% in the third and 10% in the sixth year

@tengumatingpress @gigaracist @DK_Dharmaraj Okay, this is actually good info, didn't know it was kinda intermittent and then increased
