Imma throw in my opinion on the whole age of consent should be lowered thing: It shouldn't be lowered. Theres almost definitely cases where 14-16 year olds are 'ready' for intercourse, in some cases ready for kids even, but the majority don't even know how to eat right, and so taking responsibility for things like remembering to take the day after pill, wearing condoms (if not to stop pregnancy, to not get STDs) discretion, having the intelligence to not send nudes to the wrong people if not sending nudes at all... And I'm not even gonna go into the number of desperate older men and women who would throw themselves at under developed teens with gifts, promises of living away from their parents, because they cannot get the love and attention they crave from people their own age for totally valid reasons.

Full disclosure, I'm pretty nuisanced. When I had just turned 14 I was a horny fuck just like all the other 14 year olds on the planet (M or F) and threw myself at the first older guy with a shitty car and rented apartment who glanced in my general direction. The dude over the space of a year has completely shaped the mold for all of my future relationships which has in turn ruined all other relationships I've had

So yeah, might be wrong, I don't know, but this is what I think
