It's an economic system centered on profit and not the benefit of people. It says nothing about state involvement. The term "capitalism" was coined by early socialists to describe the phenomenon of the mercantile class and holders of capital (created and given to them by the state) were growing increasingly more powerful over monarchs.

"Capitalism" by it's definition does not put people first and it's a really stupid development that people would come to use a term originally meant to describe a harmful pathology to be a term describing an ideology.

Call yourselves libertarian or classic liberal or whatever because your definition is all wrong. And then we can ditch the semantic argument and then argue about how liberalism is retarded.
