This week, Congress passed a budget calling for increasing federal spending and adding $1.7 trillion to the national debt over the next ten years. Most so-called âfiscal conservativesâ voted for this big-spending budget because it allows Congress to repeal some parts of Obamacare via âreconciliation.â As important as it is to repeal Obamacare, it does not justify increasing spending and debt.
It is disappointing, but not surprising, that the Obamacare repeal would be used to justify increasing spending. Despite sequestrationâs minor (and largely phony) spending cuts, federal spending has increased every year since Republicans took control of the House of Representatives. Some will attribute this to the fact that the Republican House had to negotiate with a big-spending Democratic president â even though federal spending actually increased by a greater percentage the last time Republicans controlled the White House and Congress than it did under President Obama.
The history of massive spending increases under unified Republican control of government is likely to repeat itself. During the presidential campaign, President-elect Donald Trump came out against reducing spending on âentitlements.â He also called for a variety of spending increases, including spending one trillion dollars on infrastructure.
One positive part of the infrastructure proposals is their use of tax credits to encourage private sector investments. Hopefully this will be the first step toward returning responsibility for building and maintaining our nationâs infrastructure to the private sector.
Unfortunately, the administration appears likely to support increased federal spending on âshovel-readyâ jobs. Claims that federal spending helps grow the economy rely on the fallacy of that which is not seen. While everyone sees the jobs and economic growth created by government infrastructure projects, no one sees the greater number of jobs that could have been created had the government not taken the resources out of the hands of private businesses, investors, and entrepreneurs. Despite what some conservatives seem to think, this fallacy applies equally to Republican and Democrat spending.
President-elect Trump has criticized the past two administrationsâ reckless foreign policy, and he has publicly shamed the powerful Lockheed Martin company for wasting taxpayer money. Yet, he continues to support increasing the military budget and has called for increased military intervention in the Middle East.
The fact is the United States already spends too much on militarism. Not only does the United States spend more on the military than the combined military budgets of the next eight highest spending countries, but Pentagon waste exceeds the total Russian military budget.
America can no longer afford to waste trillions of dollars on a militaristic foreign policy. Donald Trump should follow-up his attacks on wasteful military spending by dramatically changing our foreign policy and working to cut the Pentagonâs bloated budget.
If the new administration and Congress increase spending, they will need the Federal Reserve to monetize the growing debt. The need for an accommodative monetary policy gives the Federal Reserve and its allies in Congress and in the deep state leverage over the administration. This leverage could be used, for example, to pressure the administration to abandon support for the Audit the Fed legislation.
Fed action can only delay the inevitable day of reckoning. Raising levels of federal spending and debt will inevitably lead to a major economic crisis. This crisis is likely to be reached when concerns over our national debt cause more countries to reject the dollarâs status as the worldâs reserve currency. The only way to avoid this crisis is to stop increasing spending and instead begin reducing spending on all aspects of the welfare-warfare state.
@dcjogger More Germans were slaughtered/starved to death right after WW2 than killed in the entire war. The concentration camps where Jews and enemies of the state were kept were starved of food, medicine by The "Allies". Untold suffering ensued. Adolf Hitler tried to avoid war. The Soviets (Bolshevik Jews) were poised to invade Poland and Germany. Danzig was cut off. That POS fucking second rate drunk Churchill and The KIKE Roosevelt firebombed Dresden, a city of no military value where refugees gathered. Their gallant and noble troops raped German women, some to death and the western front was kind to German civilians in that regard. The Third Reich was purging Germany of toxic Jewish influence and control. They should have outright shot every motherfucking Kike they found instead of arranging passage to Palestine complete with currency.
Wow.
Americans are so retarded today that they say the US government only spends money on welfare.
Americans scream Stalin invaded Poland in 1939.
Americans say that the US never had black people before today.

Americans say that the USA always had TSA groping.
Americans scream that the government should force companies to give food to the homeless.
Americans swear that the US does not have a Ponzi economy because you can buy products online with a smartphone.
Americans insist the US is not at war with any country now.
Americans swear that the US debt doesn't need to be paid back.
Americans scream tyranny that happened 2 weeks ago is no longer relevant.
Americans say certain tyranny today under Socialism is better than Capitalism that leads to possible tyranny tomorrow.
Americans scream that the elites want to crash the economy so the USA will be a free country again.
Americans have become so batshit insane now that they would rather insult the messenger who warns of the dangers of tyranny instead of criticizing the government that is enslaving them.
Americans swear tyranny is wonderful if you live in a society.
Americans say anyone who loves freedom is a Commie.
Americans swear anyone who hates tyranny is a reactionary.
Americans insist that living in North Korea would be better then living in South Korea.

Americans have gone stark-raving mad.
Nazis and Communists scream Libertarians care about trifling issues, but Libertarians aren't the ones who who want to regulate teakwood.
Americans say Nazism is the American way because Communism killed more people.
Americans swear remaining quiet is the answer to tyranny.
Americans scream Libertarians are Commies.

Americans are so retarded today that they say shoes are made by the government.
Americans insist that you are still moral when you cheat on your wife if you are not bisexual.
Americans have become so batshit insane now that they insist anyone wearing a costume, badge, and a gun is a holy god, but do the Gestapo ever make mistakes?

Have Americans ever read a history book before?
Americans have become such pussified snowflakes now that they beg their beloved government overlords to protect them from scary illegal immigrants and guns.
The USA had open borders before, why not now? Do you really think that the US never had black people before today?
If banning guns will stop people from shooting others, will outlawing murder stop homicides?
The government regulates airlines, but do airplanes still crash?
Americans are simply unable to understand that decrees have unintended consequences.
China used to say all birds must be killed, but then insects multiplied and lead to starvation.
China used to say that the population must grow, but population growth lead to a one child policy. Now China doesn't have enough young people and the sex ratio is lopsided because boys outnumber girls.
Americans start wars and are then stunned that there are refugees, terrorism, tyranny, and debt.
The US bans business and then Americans are shocked when homelessness increases.
The US starts a trade war and then Americans are completely dumbfounded that no one buys US exports and prices soar.
Americans say coffee must be banned because it is dangerous, but what if an expert wrote a study saying coffee is safe?
Could there possibly be any other way to other way to help the environment besides arresting users of straws?
Americans scream seatbelts must be mandatory because accidents raise insurance costs, but if insurance rates are so important then why not ban skydiving, rope, swimming pools, and ladders, too?
Do Americans who hate freedom feel like traitors?

The USA is a bankrupt warmongering police state.
The default American response to the US collapse is to ignore the decay, excuse government abuse, attack the messengers who warn of the dangers of tyranny, and to blame everyone else except themselves for the decline.
Americans are ignoring the obvious collapse of the US by sticking their heads in the sand and focusing instead on bread and circuses, celebrities, sports, movies, music, alcohol, drugs, and sex.
Americans don't care about government corruption and scandals.
Americans will vehemently attack anyone who dares criticize their beloved government overlords by shouting "fake news!" or calling patriots spammers, trolls, shills, bots, racists, junkies, retards, or nutjobs and demanding that the truth-tellers be censored, banned, get IRS audits, be arrested, or be killed.
Americans quickly blame China, Russia, libtards, Bush, Obama, homosexuals, Communists, Nazis, blacks, atheists, Christians, Jews, Muslims, feminists, baby boomers, or illegal immigrants for the fall of the USA, but if Americans really want to know who is responsible, they just need to look in the mirror.
Americans say Churchill, FDR, Stalin, LBJ, Putin, Merkel, and Hitler are Jews, no one died during WWII, white people never owned slaves, Communists never killed anyone, the Bill of Rights was repealed by the Organic Act of 1872, and Freemasons control the world, but they never offer any proof. Anyone who does provide opposing evidence will be told their source is unreliable.

Soros, Obama, Clinton, and Trump all support endless wars, debt, and tyranny. What's the difference?
Has Trump opposed trade wars, starting wars with Iran, Mexico, China, Russia, and North Korea, driving up the debt, ending minimum wages, opening concentration camps, banning free speech, religious freedom, freedom from warrantless searches, freedom from torture, security cameras, license plate readers, checkpoints, redlight cameras, speed cameras, FBI facial and voice recognition, curfews, gun bans, NSA wiretapping, the end to the right to silence, searches without warrants, private prisons, mandatory minimums, 3 strikes laws, DNA databases, CISPA, SOPA, IMBRA, private prison quotas, no knock raids, take down notices, no fly lists, terror watch lists, Constitution free zones, stop and frisk, 3 strikes laws, kill switches, National Security Letters, DNA databases, kill lists, FBAR, FATCA, Operation Chokepoint, TSA groping, civil forfeiture, CIA torture, NDAA indefinite detention, secret FISA courts, FEMA camps, laws requiring passports for domestic travel, IRS laws denying passports for tax debts, gun and ammo stockpiles, laws outlawing protesting, police militarization, and Jade Helm?
Has Trump arrested the bankers, decreased taxes, kicked out the illegal aliens, ended the Fed, ended the wars, ended welfare, ended Obamacare, and restored the Bill of Rights?
Trump doesn't work for you. He works for the elites.
The time for supporting Trump has ended and the time for buying gold, guns, and food has arrived.
Wake up. Think. Spread the word. Dark times are coming.
