Americans are so insane today that they will vote for the candidate who promises wars, debt, and tyranny because the candidate who supports peace, balanced budgets, and freedom won't win.
The US now feels like France did when Nazi Germany invaded or the Philippines did when Japan invaded. You might have opposed wars and tyranny, but you couldn't do anything about it.
