@hj there are definitely some fun challenges and some that teach you to be better (like Onan’s Streak). But a few are just punishing.

@gruyere much like characters - lost and tainted lost are challenging but fun and i would even say fair, especially with amount of freebies (free devil deals, free knife pieces).

Meanwhile tainted jacob is like - not only you will be dodging enemies and their projectiles, you'll also be dodging your dead brother and you can fail at it twice per floor, and you don't get innate flight either, and when t. jacob becomes "lost" he doesn't get a mantle either.

And tainted lazarus is just... tedium, and without birthright an unfun one at that.

@hj tainted Lazarus absolutely killed my momentum in finishing the tainted marks. Exactly like you said, it’s pure tedium.

Tainted Cain feels the same way, it’s just the long way round of doing the same thing you were always going to do, especially since the recipes are seed dependent now. I’ll admit I don’t like crafting games though, so maybe it’s just me.

@gruyere i'm ok with crafting but when it makes sense. T Cain feels like i HAVE to play it with a browser page open, all while i could have just cheated with Da Rules mod. It would be nicer if you didn't have to explicitly stuff the bag and instead choose from your inventory, or that items didn't disappear into the void once bag is full, as well as having options on what to craft instead of single pre-selected item.
