History
Kitopi was established in 2018 by three Dubai-based entrepreneurs, Ali Albaz, Saeed Alabbar, and Moutaz Mousa.
In October 2018, Kitopi acquired the London-based cloud kitchen startup Dine-in as part of a $50 million Series A funding by venture capital firm Global Ventures.
In May 2021, Kitopi closed a $160 million series C funding, led by venture capital firm SoftBank Vision Fund 2.
Services
Kitopi provides a back-of-house solution to restaurant businesses, delivering last-mile operations, cloud kitchens, food licenses, partnerships with delivery service providers, a digital platform, inventory and labor management, and support with opening new venues.
In Dubai, Kitopi has worked with the delivery platforms Zomato, Talabat, Deliveroo, CareemNow, and UberEATS.
