After careful consideration I have been unable to find a single reason to play the Demon's Souls remake over the PS3 original

@miria nah. In ds3 (and also in remeke) if you pickup items that that you can't carry any more on you, it teleport to the box in shrine. In original DeS you would have to throw shit out your inventory just to not to lose that new peace of armor that you just found.
It can get a little bit frustrating over times.
