I was going to post the story about Brezhnev telling Thatcher they should work together to preserve the white race but surprisingly it’s hard to source it. It gets repeated a lot in books, and sometimes it’s dated earlier with Brezhnev talking to prime minister Callaghan instead. Now I’m in a rabbit hole of trying to find the original source on this story.

I know I shouldn’t be surprised at how bad academics are at citing sources, but it really is extremely bad.
