I'm pinning a torrent of map and youthlib resources for everyone who wants to study and get more involved with our struggles politically. It's curated with the specific intent of containing only legal documents, but be sure to comb through it just in case. Different countries have different standards:

@clarissa I don't really care too much about that. Honestly the community side is more interesting
There are a lot of good documentaries about deep web websites like rindexxx Alice in wonderland and the likes that got shut down in the past few years as well as the triforce Chan sites like 144chan.

There's also this one decent research paper on the psychology of dark websites as well as grey area sites like 8chan.net. In comparison to normal sites like Reddit niaraland and others.

@Bbccoom19 you should care about it. I'm sharing resources literally about the community, things that should be preserved to the best of our abilities

@clarissa I guess but I just don't view pedophillia as a huge or even big part of my personality and psyche.

Though in terms of culture online and the way it has morphed over the years is pretty interesting and I like to research that from time to time.

In general though I wouldn't feel too upset or worried, because of internet hogmenity we will probably see more pedophile ajecent stuff in media in the next 10 or so years. A lot of anime media is already like that but I think it will probably grow. Games like blue archive make billions of dollars. There will be more content and even probably some games and media that reference map stuff, websites etc. The future if entertainment imo is gonna be quite interesting.

I know I'm probably gonna be sexless for life so I'm not really worked up about pedo rights.

@Bbccoom19 sick, I'm not sharing resources for you, then. I'm sharing them with people who do care about the community and about our liberation. Maps aren't just oppressed with respect to whether or not we have sex. It sounds like you have internalized mapmisia to work through, tbf

@clarissa It is mainly just sexual imo. Pedophilia is already somewhat accepted in society. Sure you can't go over and state that you are one, but there is a lot of adjacent content out there, ie lolicon and vtubers to an extent out there and it is sorta normalised not totally but online pretty much yea.

And the president of the USA is a pedophile. Literally if the president of the mightiest nation on earth is a pedophile and no one gives enough of a fuck to press him then it is already sorta accepted.

I guess you can say that you want it to be normalised to a point where you can openly call yourself a pedophile without getting judged for it. Which is fair though tbh as it stands I think it is fine.

Also what does "mapmisia" mean?

@clarissa I was about to disagree but I ended up tweaking over Piper Rockelle stuff lmao. Can't believe she made 1 million dollars in a day.

@Bbccoom19 idk what your disagreement would be. People objectively hate paedophiles and we are structurally oppressed, even by the law. We aren't even protected under sexual discrimination laws

@clarissa By disagree basically say your wrong when saying I have mapmisia. I do at least enough to be weirded out of any of them started protesting irl, or some ready to simp over day 1 freshly 18 year olds.

With your take on structural oppression I would still say somewhat. But there is a silver lining, a lot of content online is basically made for pedophiles or pedophiles in the closet (lolicons and the likes) in media like with vtubers anime, manga/manwha and games. Some of the creators being pedophiles or friends with some themselves, like oda creator of one piece.

And laws themselves are quite lax in most countries or aren't enforced so most maps aren't really going to get orchestrated in real life unless they touch a kid.

Follow

@clarissa And if people truly hated pedophiles there wouldn't even be a market for that stuff online. But there is. Games like blue archive, black sould, vtubers like gura gura, and many lolicon anime make millions of dollars, not to mention hentai. In a society that truly hated that sort of expression those sorts of content wouldn't even exist.

@Bbccoom19 that's not really how social hatred works. We all know that mapness is far more common than polite society pretends it is. But all social hatred and oppression conceals attachment. It's why racist white people are so into porn of Black men fucking white women.

There's a market for cp because young people's autonomy is illegalized, and simply banning something doesn't actually do anything except encourage black markets. By reinforcing the illegality of young people's sexuality (among many other things), the state keeps young people in a subordinate position to adults. Maps are oppressed, objectively according to all available data (we're poorer, way more suicidal, and violence against us is so normalized that regular people feel comfortable saying that they would kill us), for this same reason, which is that genuine *love* for young people disturbs the dynamic of the young person as property

@clarissa @Bbccoom19 fr tho those bastards who sell young girls to such content where they are exploited for sex for the needs of sick racist fetishes needs to be shut down fr

Honestly never got why people can be this cruel to denounce and ruin family relations for sick fantasies

@Bbccoom19 @clarissa that's cause such markets are fictional and not real, and made from a foreign country which the western puritanism doesn't have control over

So your left with conflicting ideas but the law itself allows persecution

It's not much different than what prostitution was like in the past with illegality being present while legal barriers are sort of allowed for fictional entities
