oh really? whenever I stumble across any so-called modern "homepage", it's always a minefield of troons, faggots, "systems" and other they/themlings, the spawns and embodiment of corporate rainbow capitalism

They mainly dominate the creative scene that's why. And are the only ones really interested in keeping up niche sites alive.
Tbh though I don't know why people glaze indie works so much. It's odd.
