@ned Have Americans ever not been bitching about flagburning? They've been whining about flagburnings since our grandparents were infants, and they'll probably still be whining about flagburning when our great-grandchildren are changing their grandchildren's diapers.

I guess so, but I haven't seen someone mention it since the 90s. I think those people are more concerned with burning down buildings these days.
