why is it that every time the cops kill an unarmed black person who actually did something bad and was actually resisting arrest, their tasers suspiciously don't work? might fuck around and make a conspiracy theory about this
i know the answer is probably "because if the taser worked they wouldn't have killed him" but

I've heard that in some cases, it's because the person was on drugs which helped them resist the effects of being tased, which could also be responsible for their aggression, but I don't know how true or common that would be.
It could be related to that mysterious phenomenon where the bodycams suddenly stop recording just before alleged police brutality happens.
Law enforcement issued tasers are to my knowledge set to rather low voltage to prevent accidental death. So the person being hopped up on drugs just give them a fair chance of just shrugging it off.
Please also be aware that certain drugs allow a person to continue to functioning even while riddled with bullets. There was one case where they literally had to shatter his pelvis to stop the person from moving. All while he was missing half his skull and a chunk of his brain. There are some scary as fuck drugs out there.
