Rabbit and Hare were very similar
Rabbit had no friends
Hare had no friends
Rabbit thought Hare was misunderstood, like Rabbit was
He tried to befriend Hare, and Hare appreciated this
Hare took Rabbit on many wonderful adventures
And one day Rabbit learned something about Hare, something that Rabbit didn't like
Hare was a thief
Hare would take and take, and steal and steal, Hare thought it was funny when the people he stole from got hurt
Rabbit was going to leave Hare be, Rabbit didn't want a friend like Hare
But then Hare did more than steal, Hare sent people to the winterland, people Rabbit liked
And so Rabbit had decided to do something about Hare
But Bluebird sang Rabbit to sleep before he could, and when he woke up Hare was gone

Now Rabbit spends every day wishing he could find Hare, to get his revenge

Seasons have passed, and Blackbird told Rabbit about Hares daughter, Rabbit doesn't think it's very fair that Hare got to sire, after what he did
Rabbit's not like Hare, he doesn't like playing tricks, he doesn't like stealing
Rabbit won't hurt Hares daughter, but he thinks about it
Rabbit is weak, and so he turns his gaze away from Hare, he lets Hare escape
Now Rabbit has no idea where Hare is again

Rabbit still hasn't let go of Hare, and it's eating him alive
