@theblessing 1984 is about the experience of a low caste member in a dystopia, bnw is about the experience of a high caste member. High cast members get to go to the feelies, the orgies, they get to have soma, they have relative freedom. The proles in 1984 get jack shit, they get the two minutes hate and gruel and barely any cigarettes and have to make a razor last long past it's point of usability. The proles do not get to have feelies, and orgies, and soma, no, the proles get to have disgusting old rotten whores with painted faces to trick you until you get real close, close enough to smell em.
Also women are people.

Brave New world is consumption as escape from tyranny and 1984 is isolation and authoritarianism with out right authoritative denial of the very tyranny that oppresses him. It destroys love and family via psychological means without using technology because it's not developed yet.

To get back to the point, replacing women with machines takes the humanity out of being humans and reduces children to a commodity. It is not something to strive for and would probably have a disastrous impact in the synthetically-created offspring.
I mean in each novel there's a totalitarian government preventing any sort of bond between two people.
When was the last time you read Brave New World? Do you not understand how going through the motions with no deep connections is depicted as isolating?
