michael didn't care and nobody cares, but i have been rewatching season 1 of this over the past day or two and i am so torn.
i can't tell.. if it's secretly amazing? the humor is extremely juvenile but the art is absolutely wild and the hand-drawn animation is done with a lot of love. it's also so satisfying to see something that's not under the "flapjack" umbrella of calarts garbage.
also, david wain has the PERFECT voice for the warden. just perfect. very fun to revisit this one.

@Jazzy_Butts i honestly never even knew it had more seasons until i looked it up on a whim yesterday! it was always just this fever dream that would play randomly on adult swim when i was really fucked up. i'm slowly working through season 1 cause i barely remember any of the plot. ;w; excited to see the others too, though.
